Every once and a while I get a free moment and I start to play around with Photoshop.  “Little Lion Bear” is the result of one of these moments.  No, I’m not really sure what he is, but I can explain a little about how he was created.

I started with my pen and ink artwork, “Alien Speciman” Next I cropped the image, copied it, flipped it horizontal, and thought, “Huh, that looks kind of like a bear.” But it lacked ears and paws, so I added them in digitally.  Then I thought, “Kind of looks like a lion, without the mane.” So I added a mane.  End result… Lion Bear.  Which looks pretty cool under a black light.

Hope you weren’t expecting something deep and meaningful…
